Feng shui tips useful for your office
Feng shui for office is as important application of feng shui as is the feng shui for bedroom. We tend to spend many hours at the office, be it a home office or an outside work environment.
It is good to try to connect all the dots, so to speak, and see if the feng shui of your office has the answers to some challenges you might be experiencing at work.
If you have been neglecting your work environment, take some time now to pay attention to the feng shui of your office, and I mean really pay attention to what is going on in your work space.
Answer some basic feng shui questions, such as, for example: What is happening behind your back? What do you first see as you come in? What is happening in the South bagua area of your space?
See if by improving your office with some smart feng shui tips you can improve your well-being at work, as well as create some subtle shifts in the relationship with your co-workers.
Let us look into a quick feng shui case study, an impromptu example on how to deal with challenging feng shui in the office.
First, feel free to see the office photo at the feng shui forum, as well as read the question (click the return button on the forum page to come back to this article.)
The suggestions below are general feng shui suggestions and were given directly at the feng shui forum. See if any of the feng shui solutions here apply to you and your office.
- There is a presence of Sha Chi – poison arrows at your back. They are not very strong, but there are chatty and annoying, energy-wise. Sha chi weakens your energy and/or create situations in your life that deplete your energy.
- You need strong feng shui backing while working at your desk. In your case, a big strong plant should start creating good energy, as well as ground and absorb all the distractive energy around you. Choose a bigger size plant with a smooth feel to it and a stable, wide base (earthenware pot).Basically, you are looking to create the feel of a mountain (ideal feng shui backing). The goal is to visually fill the corner behind your desk and create supportive energy for you.
- Golden Pothos is a feng shui plant that is easy to care for and has a rich, lush look; also Dracaena Jenny Craig can create a lush feel when there are several plants in one pot.Areca Palm is, of course, a very popular plant, both in the office and at home. These three plants are air purifying and tolerate low levels of light, so should be excellent for the office.
- In the plant soil you can put some rocks or crystals, as well as little feng shui wealth. Nobody needs to see them, just important that you know they are in your feng shui wealth area.
- Bring the feng shui lucky bamboo closer to the computer to create more peaceful energy for you, have it on the side that is facing the entry to your space. Put more rocks in it, since it is your Northwest area, and the feng shui earth element supports the metal element of the Northwest.
- See if you can find a better way to organize the area that is to your right side (and part of your backing when you are at your desk). Find a consistent, easy on the eye way of dealing with all the needed items. An open shelf idea might work, place them slightly higher than they are now.
- It is important to have a focal point in any space, be it home or office. Right now the lack of a focal point contributes to the energy getting dissipated in many directions, thus not supporting you.
- Last but not least, the corner you see as you come into your office space (you have two photo frames there right now) visually needs a high, strong presence. You can have the same photos but in big/strong/tall frames to visually work well with the available height in the corner. This is the area that, feng shui- wise, fills you (or not!) with good energy as you come into the space.
Have you found any of these office feng shui tips helpful? Can you apply any of them to your working space? I hope you can.
